Allie + Brian's Urban Desert Wedding
I don’t know if you guys can tell by now, but I am in LOVE with all things bohemian. But, as with anything else, the styles in that category range so widely. I love that no two boho-themed weddings are alike, and Brian and Allie’s unique wedding was no exception. Their ceremony at Skylight in the Santa Fe Arts District was filled with geometric shapes, jewel tones, textures and patterns. Their decor had a southwestern, desert vibe with deep red, orange, and violet hues. Succulents and cacti of every size and variety added texture and greenery to the backdrop and tables. These two high school sweethearts from Oklahoma City knew exactly what they were going for and pulled it off flawlessly.

While shooting this wedding, Matt and I fell so hard all over again for downtown Denver. Brian and Allie both got ready and had their first look at the gorgeous Maven Hotel in Denver’s Dairy Block. We became so obsessed with this micro-district after shooting here with them! Lining the wood walls was actual kale and fresh veggies growing - which felt so surreal in the middle of high rise buildings.
Allie looked phenomenal in her deep-V gown, and we loved Brian’s donut socks! These two love donuts so much they even had a colorful donut wall to use for pictures and décor. It was so cute (and delish). They are also big Phish fans, so the donut theme continued (I couldn’t help laughing when I saw the groom’s awesome Fishman Donut cake). Allie’s mom even HAND-PAINTED all the Phish coaster wedding favors. Some of the most intricate and amazing DIY favors we have literally ever seen!
Biggest congrats, Brian + Allie. All the love for you two!!!
